Good morning, Füsters!
Well, it’s been 10 long weeks but we’re finally here at the Finalefüste for Winterfüste 2026! Pretty rough one this year with GG forecasting about 35% of the starting field finishing the game this evening (normal it’s around 50-60%). But there’ll be plenty of time to deconstruct this year’s game in the coming days. For now, let’s focus on today, the last day of gameplay!
You’ve got a number of things to knock out in the next 9 hours or so here’s a helpful synopsis:
First and foremost, go jump on a scale and send GG a pic of your final weigh-in. If you made it this far then you should be down some flank meat. It might not be a ton but there should be an overall net loss for the game. Let’s see it!
Next, report off for yesterday, March 13th. Ignore any reference to “Friday the 13th” on the DRT. GG decided to forgo that last single day bonus. Pretty sure we hit burn out a while back so . . .
If you’re going to do it (and at this point, why wouldn’t you?), complete your Finale Exam equaling two sets of your daily Homework, back to back, filmed with timelapse and sent to GG. If you did this week the right way, you should have only a Singelt left today and by completing the Finale Exam, you’ll score that last Singelt of the game!
Now, go dump a large bucket of ice water over your head (or rather, let someone who loves you do it for you because at this point they’re pretty sick of hearing about the Füste and how you can’t have that cocktail or piece of cake etc.; let them live a little!). Send GG the video to score one last bonus!
Now, if you didn’t slay your Drachen this week, you have this last day to do it so . . . here’s GG laying on a little Mutter-guilt with the hopes to foster one last act of inspiration! But if you’re done and that Drachen’s going to live to see another day, that’s all good. You’ll get ‘em next year!
Remember, game rules are in place until tonight at 5pm PST. GG will send the final bell ringing to everyone at that time. Until then, you can still score your exercise points (if you’re not doing the Finale Exam or you needed a Doppelt today) and knock out one last bonus.
Once you’re all done, go ahead and report out for today. Yes, you can report early if you want and GG will trust you didn’t break any rules before the ringing of the bell. But please please please send in the last report for today, the Finalefüste. That’s how you’ll get on the last Bestenliste of the game and for the love of Gott and all you’ve done for the last 72 days, why woudn’t you want that??
