Tonight we close out Periode I, which represents the first full three weeks of game play. By next Saturday, you’ll have cleared the entire month of January (and if you stayed off the sauce from the Startenfüste, you’ll earn the Dry January +3p bonus!).
For Periode II, we now introduce the concept of the Doppelt workout! Remember, Doppelts can be one of two things:
Complete two separate Singelt workouts (e.g. run 3 miles and spin for 45 minutes). There’s no requirement for the two workouts to be “back to back” so you can do either at any time during a designated calendar day.
Complete a defined Doppelt workout from the Schmerzenfüste page (go here to review the Doppelt requirements for each exercise category).
Also, this week begins the switch to 24 hour fasting. So for Week 4, your fast begins TONIGHT (Jan. 25th) at dusk (so eat dinner before the sun disappears completely) and goes until sunset tomorrow (now, if you already have plans that will make this difficult, you can start the 24 hour clock whenever you finish dinner . . . so if you have 7pm reservations somewhere and you wont be done eating until 08:30pm, then that’s when your 24 hour clock starts). No getting up early tomorrow morning to eat! And honestly, most of you have probably already been fasting like this for the dawn to dusk fasts so this shouldn’t be a life changing event. Because this starts tonight, GG is sending out this update early to prime you for what’s coming.
