WEEK 5: You're in it now!

Week 5 is crazy busy so let’s just get straight to the details. First and foremost, this Friday is the halfway point of the game. That means it’s your Schummeltag or “Cheat Day”! You get all three points, food, drink and exercise for free (so yes, you report like you earned the points for that day) BUT you can eat and drink whatever you want and just laze around exercise free for the day! Now, if you choose to do take advantage of your Cheat Day, just know that you will most like pay for it the next day cause the sudden reintroduction of sugar and alcohol into your clean system will be a bit jarring. But it’s up to you how bad you want to suffer; GG’s just the middle man. In addition to having no rules on the Cheat Day, you’ll also have the opportunity to complete the Midterm Bonus (see below) and a Skavenger Hunt (details released on Thursday night). And yes, before you even ask, if you want to take your Cheat Day on Superbowl Sunday instead of Friday, you can do that but the bonus activities that are associated with the halfway point (Midterm, Skavenger Hunt) have to be completed on Friday. So there’s a lot going on near the end of the week. But then Monday’s Groundhog Day and there’s a bonus available only tomorrow for that too (see below) so the week starts pretty busy as well.

One piece of admin clean up, GG is aware of a couple mistakes on the DRT this past week . . . one with scoring where the Park Hike was listed on the Bonus page as a +1p activity but scored on the DRT as a +3p and then on the So Many Stairs Bonus the DRT showed it as 40 flights instead of the required 50 flights. GG apologizes for the mistakes and hopefully that’s as bad as it will get this year (hand over face emoji).
