WEEK 7: Backside of the Game!

GG just wants to say thank you again to everyone for their patience this week. GG was out of town for 7 days on a work training that took up pretty much all day every day and there were a lot of delays in communication and updates. So thank you for sticking it out and Füsting without a chaperone for a week!

Now, let’s talk about what’s coming up. You’ve survived Periode’s I and II to arrive at the penultimate challenge (don’t forget about Höllenwoch!) of WF26 : Periode III and the introduction of the Trippelt workout!. That’s right, it’s time to fully embrace the Füste obsession with the number 3 (don’t pretend you hadn’t noticed the math until now). So, for the next three weeks you’ll be able to score Trippelt workouts worth +3 daily Schmerzenpunkte.

What exactly is a Trippelt? In case you’re new here or just need a refresher, here’s a quick refresher. A Trippelt can be one of two things”

  • Complete three separate Singelt workouts (e.g. run 3 miles and spin for 45 minutes and then walk 4 miles). There’s no requirement for the three workouts to be “back to back to back” so you can do them at any time during a designated calendar day.

  • Complete a defined Trippelt workout from the Schmerzenfüste page (go here to review the Trippelt requirements for each exercise category).

In other news, Periode III also delivers unto the deserving a couple of big Completion Bonuses! First up, if you completed the first two park hikes then the completion of this week’s Parkenfüste #3 will bag you the +15p Parkenfüster Completion Bonus! That’s big punkte! And then on top of that, the gigantic +20p Side Quest Completion Bonus also drops! If you’ve managed to earn +32 Side Quest Coins then tomorrow you’ll receive this über bonus! This is really going to shake up the Bestenliste and separate the wheat from chaff! Don’t be chaff, get your Side Quests done and earn this bonus as soon as possible!

And speaking of Side Quests, you’ve got two single day Side Quest events hitting both this Tuesday (2/17) to celebrate Chinese New Year and Mardi Gras. Each SQ will earn you a coin and yes, you can do both and score both on the same day. Details on what you have to do will be out tomorrow night in time for you to plan as needed.
